Isla Marie's Baptism...

Today was a big day for our little Isla. She was welcomed into the Christian community today through her baptism. The ceremony was very nice and even included the other children from our Christian community. After church we all went back to Isla's house for refreshments and a great lunch. It was so nice to have everyone together again.

Memorial Day.....

Happy Memorial day. Can you believe that this is the start of another summer season! Lets not forget the real meaning of this special day and take a minute out of your day today to remember all those who gave their time and there lives so that we could be free.

My Little Granddaugter Is Growing Up!

My how time flies. My little Isla is really learning all kinds of little feats. She has discovered how cute she is and likes to look at herself in her little mirror. She is now discovering all her little toys and according to her mother she spends lots of time concentrating on them. She has learned how to hold and play with them now. Three months is such a cute age of discovery for the little ones. I have a few new little pictures I think you might enjoy.

Wooooo....it's finally Friday and the weekend is upon us. It's such a beautiful day in sunny San Diego, I hope it stays like this the whole weekend. I can't believe that we are already in the middle of May and heading into the summer months. I've already had my air conditioner going for almost a week. Normally I don't even think about it until the middle of summer. The seasons seem to be getting shorter and shorter. Maybe it's all the global warming?

Family News...

I have been so so busy I haven't had time to fill you in on all the little happenings that have been occurring in my life. Where can I start? Well after my first day at Disneyland we went back for another day of fun. It wasn't as crowded and we where able to do a lot more.

We are patiently waiting awaiting the arrival of our new little Vivianna who is due to arrive in a couple of weeks.

My other special family experienced their first Mother's day with their little Isla. We had a wonderful brunch that my son put together for all of us and had fun taking pictures and just spending time together.

As I am now in my grandmother years I really appreciate my boys and their wonderful families. It makes days like Mother's day and the soon to be Father's day so special, just seeing how happy my extended family is. I'M SO LUCKY!!!

Disneyland Fun...

Today I went to Disneyland with family and had a wonderful time. We are going back tomorrow to see some of the things we didn't have time to do today. We got to see the production of Aladdin, which believe it or not I had never had the opportunity to do all the other times that I have gone. The music was lovely and quite magical, with flying carpets flying through the air and may magical things happening all around us. I will post tomorrow and maybe I will have some photos as well.
